How to execute your plans consistently?

Most of us have great plans for our life. Its the execution part that we miss on. If you don’t have a plan for your life, then you need a different discussion. Another way of saying the above quote is: Well done is better than better planned. All the planning in the world will amount to nothing if you don’t take action. Read on if you want to know how to execute your plans consistently.

“Inaction breeds doubt and fear. Action breeds confidence and courage. If you want to conquer fear, do not sit home and think about it. Go out and get busy.” ―Dale Carnegie

I can guarantee from personal experience. I launched this blog about four years ago and it still does not have 30 blogs. The plan was great, I did not execute. But, you know what the good thing is: You can always begin to take action and you will be set on your path. One step after another in the correct direction wildly changes your destination. This gives us hope. However, it is just the first step.

Want to win: Take Consistent action

How to execute your plans consistently? The next step towards achieving your goal is taking consistent action. It is really the secret of all achievements. Taking daily, consistent action towards your goals, according to the plan you created for your life is the key to success. We also know the concept by another name – ‘Discipline’. Napolean Hill called it – ‘The Master Key to Riches’

Discipline is the ability to do what you need to do, whether you feel like it or not.

Discipline – The Master Key to Riches

What is discipline? Discipline is the ability to do what you need to do, whether you feel like it or not. We all want immediate gratification. We want to do whatever we ‘feel’ like doing. And that is where we lose. Life is fair. It only gives what you put in. How to decide what to put in? You plan for it. Then take action. Be biased towards action. That is how you win. Create urgency in your life. Give your deadlines and meet those deadlines.

“Action is the antidote to despair.” ―Joan Baez

Personal commitment

It is pretty easy to preach to others. Therefore, I am going to make it more personal. For the month of August 2020, I plan to publish 10 high-quality posts on this blog. It is a difficult undertaking for me, with all my work commitments and other stuff going on. However, taking my own advice, I commit to producing 10 posts. Let us do a review of this article on 1st September 2020 and see how I fare. Wish me the best of luck!
